Finally we had some snow in here, Finland, few weeks ago. It feels like a winter is not a winter until it has snowed - before that it´s just a colder fall ; ).

Supa enjoyed the snow a lot, although her first heat at the age of 7 months did make her a bit quiet for a while. Supa's mother has had regular heat-cycle, she has them every 6 months, so that is to be expected with Supa also. Our little one is growing up. *sigh* ; ) Most of the time Topi didn´t care about Supa's heat, he still thinks Supa is just a puppy, and he is right. But for a while Topi had to go visit some friends, so that the temptation wouldn´t be too much for him. Now the happy family is back together again and everything is back to normal.

I´m quite excited about some resent events; Topi got engaged! ; ) Topi's bride is a Swedish blue bitch, called Bilda, from kennel Snjos. If everything goes as planned there should be bunch of blue summer puppies in Sweden next year. : )
I hope that this breeding would produce some good-natured, hard-working puppies with ability to healthy durable movement as this breed should have. The inbreeding prosentage with this combination is 0% counted back to six generations, which is good news for the possible puppies. Let´s hope everything goes as planned!

Topi also will be nature tested in the spring; it will be interesting to see, how the judges will define Topi's nature. Supa has to wait that joy for a while more - dog has to be over two years old to be able to participate to the Finnish nature test.
